This intervention aims at increasing the volume of the breasts or correcting a mammary asymmetry using implants. The mammary implant is a solid silicone envelope filled of cohesive gel; to be posed either under the gland, or under the muscle.

The choice of the form and volume of the implant is done by the patient with the assistance of a specialist surgeon during the first consultation. (Tests of various forms and volumes of protheses). Today one can choose exactly the height, the width and the projection of the protheses.

 
Where are the cicatrices places?
 
   
- Either around the nipple or in the furrow under the breast and do not exceed 3 cm .
 
What are the pre-operation tests
 
   

- A blood Analysis (NFS- (plates) – TP- TCA- GS including glycaemia to patients older than 40 years) + a serology HIV – HBS.

- A radiological test / a mammography / a thorax radiography

- An electrocardiogram (+ cardiologic consultation to women older than 40 years)

 
After the operation
   

During the 8 days which follow the surgery you should not:

   
- Practise sport
- Drive a car
- Carry heavy loads
   

The bandages are removed at the second day; those which cover the wounds are changed twice a day until the skinning over You can wear your bra without brace from the third day on.The stitches are resorbing
